Update July 2009 - Pangum Village Project :

Project Dates Oct/Nov 2009 - Please Note change to published date:

This proposed project will not go ahead in Oct/Nov 2009 as planned. This is due to a number of interested groups withdrawing the project from their programmes due to financial considerations existing in the UK and World economy presently. The project has been postponed for 2009 and after discussion with the villagers and the Head Lama of the Monastery in Pangum efforts will be made to revise the projected work in the village to try and reduce the overall costs in view of the difficult financial situation prevailing at the present time. Please see our News pages and Watch This Space for the new date.
